Originated from the Kadazandusun ethnic of Ranau and Tambunan district, this is a multipurpose bamboo basket for conveying of fruits, firewood, vegetables and paddy stalks. The basket is usually strap onto the back and is made of bamboo, rattan bark and wood. However nowadays it has been custom-made to commercial use with various miniature sizes and commonly used as pen holders or vases.
